Germany Teaching Assistant Introduction - Martin Eylert

As we know, in this semester, there are a lot of Germany International students studying in Dayeh University and also being the teaching assistant in different departments. In this issue, we would like to introduce you one more Germany international student whose name is Martin Eylert.

  我們知道,這學期大葉大學來了許多德國籍的國際學生,他們也在校內不同的系所裡面擔任助教的工作。在這一期裡,我們要再介紹一位來自德國的學生 - Martin Eylert。

 

Martin Eylert came from Chemnitz, which is a downtown about 70 kilometres away from Dresden or Leipzig. Before he came to Taiwan, he studied at University of Applied Sciences in Mittweida and majored Business Administration and Management.

  Martin來自德國一個叫Chemnitz的地方,離大城市德烈斯敦和來比錫距離大約七十公里左右。在他來台之前,他就讀德國Mittweida應用科技大學,主修商業經營和管理。

 

Martin lives with his family in Germany. His sister is a dance teacher for Latin American. Besides, Martin has a lot of interests such as sports, history and reading. He especially good at sport, and have played basketball for many years. On the other hand, he also likes to play bowling, squash, and tennis. When he studied at University of Applied Sciences in Mittweida, he joined both the bowling club and the squash club. Martin said that he really enjoyed the competition when he playing ball with other people. Furthermore, he also interested in history, astronomy and physics and read many books related to these areas.

  Martin在德國與他的家人同住,他有一個姊姊是教拉丁美洲舞的舞蹈老師。Martin有許多的興趣像是運動、歷史和閱讀。而他則對於運動特別擅長,本身也打了許多年的籃球。另一方面,他也喜歡打保齡球、回力球和網球。在大學時期,他參加了保齡球社和回力球社也十分享受與對手在球場上競賽的感覺。 此外,他對於歷史、天文學和醫學也很感興趣,也閱讀了許多這些領域上的相關書籍。


Martin likes to research for the economical growth and cultural development of the Asian continent, and fascinates by the geographical diversity as well as the economic development. Therefore, he chooses Taiwan to study aboard to learn more knowledge about Taiwanese culture. During these five months when he stays at Dayeh University, he hopes that he can gain some information about Taiwan such as diverse culture, Taiwanese personality and the economy. So, if you also feel interested in Taiwan’s economy or culture, you can discuss with Martin and exchange your opinions about this.

  Martin喜歡研究亞洲大陸的經濟成長及文化發展,對於地理方面的差異及不同也深深的著迷。因此,他選擇了到台灣念書並學習更多有關台灣文化的相關知識。而在他待在大葉大學五個月的時間裡,他希望能得到更多有關台灣文化差異、台灣人的人格特質及經濟方面的相關資訊。所以,如果你也對台灣的經濟或文化有所興趣的話,有空不彷也跟Martin聊聊,並彼此交換一下意見。
